Our School

All are Welcome

To serve the growing needs of Southeastern Davidson County, Cane Ridge Elementary opened in 2012. Today it serves more than 700 students in kindergarten through 5th grade, making it one of the largest elementary school in the whole district. As a LEED silver-certified school, we also are one of the greenest schools in the district.

Our school is reflective of Antioch and its diverse population. At Cane Ridge, our students represent a variety of cultures and backgrounds, and we proudly celebrate them all. At our annual International Fair, students and their families dress up in cultural attire, bring home-cooked foods to sample and share other customFlourishing Kindergartens from their culture.

We strive every day to achieve the very best for our students and their families. A school-wide behavior plan guides each of us through our days, while unique programs keep our students engaged. A few of our favorites are the community garden, piano and keyboard lab, rock-climbing wall in PE and the Encore program for gifted learners.

We may be one of the largest elementary school, but we still feel like a family. We work hard to have open communication with our families, and we regularly host parent workshops and family-centered events.
